I recognized nearly every name on the list, and I know that several of the hard-core dominionists in this state are also mentioned as being in line for posts in his administration (like Pam Bondi).

The last few days have been terrifying to us.  There was racist graffiti spraypainted on buildings at my school, and racist hate incidents happening on campus (our President sent out a letter to everyone, and I knew immediately that bad things were happening but not what until a couple of days later).  I've been getting updates from the SPLC and it's happening all over the place.  I've even heard of a few examples of religious bigotry based hate crimes (and graffiti) taking place - and that worries me even more because I know how the "media" doesn't like to think about the religious aspect and under-reports it.  (Can't have those never-do-wrong 'Good Christians' look bad {like the reality we see}, dont'cha know?)

The dominionists are filling the spaces around him and I expect to hear more and more of their agenda being pushed.  

I'm worried that our local dominionists will be embolded by this and we suffer more - at the least, having "the Gospel" blasted at us from radios through the fence is a real possibility (they HAVE ranted at us across our fence several  times in the past).  Our hard-core dominionist neighbors don't like it that they have an "atheist" (I'm not - neither of us are) "Librul" living in their midst.  (They insist I HAVE to be atheist because I accept evolution as a fact and and am accepting of the Other, even friendly with those they hate.)

I'm worried sick for this country. People I know have predicted that Trump might be assassinated because he might balk at some of the things they (the dominionists) have advocated and fought for.  I worry that someone who will be disenfranchised by the goals of the dominionists would do something STUPID (giving Trump and the dominionists another Reichstag).  I've also read prognostications that he will be impeached almost before he enters office... and look who would then take the reins in either case.  More and more it's been a win-win situation for them, and a major loss for freedom and the rest of society (if not for life itself).

I'm also really afraid for some of my friends.  They had to flee this hellhole because they're gay/lesbian.  Trump's election may eventually mean that they won't have ANY safe place - and those I know who are married might have their marriage and relationship denied them, maybe even outlawed.  I think it possible that sexual minorities will be declared against the law - outlawed.

For generations, we (American Indians in the Southeast) were outlawed.  I know a bit of what it feels like, even though I didn't learn about my heritage (one of those the dominionists are hostile to unless they can turn us into trophies for their wall) until it became legal for us to just exist - in 1980.  It's not fun (especially when you realize that you could have had all of your rights denied and thrown in prison because you traveled AS A LITTLE CHILD to visit your grandma)!  

I also had the "gay" label put on me a few times even though it's wrong.  The thing my life has taught me is that they don't care about truth - even the hint of 'sin' (as they define it) is enough!  (The local megachurches blocked me from getting a good job because of that false rumor, back when I was single and looking.  They also may have been blocking any attempts I made to date.)

What they will bring is hell on earth for a lot of innocent people!

Our only hope is that Trump has a major change of heart (unlikely) and is able to avoid being destroyed by the people who put him in power after he starts resisting them.  (This should be a wakeup call to all of those who have INSISTED that the religious right was dying out - unless we get a miracle, they've won!)
