While TheCall event is taking place inside Ford Field, there will also be a gathering of clergy marching from the Occupy Detroit base at Grand Circus and Woodward to Ford Field under the banner of "Crusade against Hate," according to the Detroit News.
Pastors in Detroit are speaking out against the  TheCall leadership's demonization of Muslims and homosexuals.  Regular Talk2action readers will know that the list of people literally demonized in the pre-TheCall activities and preparations also included Mormons, Freemasons, and more.  My last article documented this demonization, including rituals held outside Freemasonry lodges and mosques, and one ritual in the Michigan Senate Chambers.

We can expect that the rhetoric at the 24-hour TheCall Detroit will not include the type of horrific demonization that took place in the pre-Call preparations and events. There has been an unprecedented amount of press coverage of TheCall, International House of Prayer, and the larger apostolic and prophetic movement (also called the New Apostolic Reformation) over the last few months.  However, TheCall requires all participants of this free event to register and the movement will be able to use that contact information for outreach.

The pastor who claims to be the point person for recruiting African American churches for TheCall Detroit, described Islam as "perverse."  He also stated that all of the pastors that he approached as TheCall Detroit was being promoted, had never heard of Lou Engle before.  If this is indeed the case, then Engle and TheCall, the regional International Houses of Prayer (such as Deatroitborn Altar), Transformation Michigan, and other apostolic and prophetic ministries, have now already gained a foothold in the region that they did not have before.
