Prosperity Doctrine with a Twist - the NAR's 7-M Mandate and the Great Wealth Transfer
The 2011 summit at Rick Joyner's MorningStar Ministries was advertised as,
"God is preparing his bride, the body of Christ, for unprecedented wealth transfer."The 2010 summit held at George Morrison's Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, Colorado, was described on the Christian Business Daily website and elsewhere as an effort to, "deploy strategically to conquer and occupy territory (spheres of influence and authority) as a vast end time army of the Lord."Os Hillman is head of the International Coalition of Workplace Ministries, president of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce US, and a major spokesperson for the Seven Mountains mandate. In the video below, C. Peter Wagner, Os Hillman, and Apostle Myles Francis speak from the KEYS event at Faith Bible Chapel in 2010.
In publicity the 2010 KEYS was described as follows. "Summits are governmental gatherings where apostolic leaders declare, decree, legislate, negotiate, set policy, plan the future, discuss issues, enter into agreements and treaties, and form alliances and coalitions. As such, it is an intentional, strategic assembly of warriors, leaders and generals who are supernaturally taking the Kingdom of God by force and advancing it in the marketplace on earth as it is in Heaven."Individual ministries, like those hosting the KEYS summits, also have developed their own networks of "workplace apostles." George Morrision's Faith Bible Chapel has its own Kingdom Business Alliance and Rick Joyner's MorningStar Ministries has a Kingdom Business Association. The latter is now featuring an "Urgent Webinar with Lance Wallnau." (Wallnau states in the video that he is ordained through Joyner's MorningStar Ministries.) KEYS is organized each year by Bruce Cook, whose bio describes him as former Research Director for the University of Texas Investment Management Company, founder of Venture Advisers, and partner with Capital Funding LLC and Kingdom House. In a promotional video Cook introduces some of God's Marketplace Generals who will impart "the strategies and secrets of God in business and finance."
C. Peter Wagner on the Great Wealth Transfer
The following quotes explaining the great wealth transfer are from C. Peter Wagner's Dominion! How Kingdom Action Can Change the World, published in 2008 by Chosen Books, a division of Baker Publishing. "You will recall that in the graphic on social transformation I have displayed, one of the two pillars supporting 'Social Transformation' is "The Great Transfer of Wealth." I am convinced that a significant reason why we have not yet taken cities for God is that we have not had enough money at our disposal. Wagner continues, attacking the "pernicious influence of the spirit of poverty" and praising prosperity doctrine. Wagner defends Harry Jackson, Jr., co-author with George Barna of the book High Impact African American Churches, from accusations that he is teaching prosperity gospel and quotes Jackson as stating,
"For those civil rights warhorses, such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, to say churches like ours have abandoned Jesus' call for social justice to preach a gospel of wealth shows how out of touch they are with the current needs of the black community." Wagner continues,
"I once heard Apostle Pat Francis of Kingdom Covenant Ministries in Toronto say that her goal is to help every member of her church become a millionaire. She says, `Their mission is to obtain wealth with wisdom and prosperity for Kingdom purposes.'
In a promotional video, advertising Pat Francis's participation in KEYS, she is shown in a sermon stating, "If you belong to Christ then you are Abram's seed and then you become heirs according to the promise. What was the promise? We saw it before in Deuteronomy 1. You must possess the land that somebody now owns. Praise God! You are going to pass by properties today when you go out and just say to them, 'Enjoy the time you have in there, baby. I'm coming in to take that.'" Francis is based in Toronto and heads Kingdom Covenant Ministries and Kingdom Leadership Network. (See reference to KLN in this article). She also holds "Kingdom Enforcers" conferences featuring Lance Wallnau and other leading apostles.
Under the subtitle "The Chain of Wealth Transfer" in his book Dominion!, Wagner states, According to the prophets, a great transfer of wealth is soon coming to facilitate the extension of the Kingdom of God, and I believe that we are to help prepare the way." Wagner continues to describe the need for biblical government of the church under apostles and prophets and the significance of strategic level spiritual warfare. Wagner adds, Before the 1990s, concepts such as spiritual mapping, territorial spirits or identificational repentance were not even on our radar screens. But they are now, and they are extremely important for implementing social transformation. Wagner closes describing the significance of "workplace apostles." They have access to the seven molders of culture (religion, family, arts and entertainment, education, government, media, and business). With them in place, we can expect that God will release the wealth of the wicked that He has been promising to the righteous, large sums of wealth that will be used to bring about significant, measurable social transformation. Who Holds the Seven Mountains Now?
Seminars at the 2010 KEYS event included Lance Wallnau on "Occupying Your Sphere of Influence in the 7 Mountains of Culture." Wallnau also spoke at Faith Bible Chapel just prior to the KEYS summit, telling the congregation that God has given the believer power to get wealth. After telling the congregation of his Jewish lineage on his father's side, Lance Wallnau states, "The promise to the church is everything in the Old Testament belongs to us. Matter of fact, the new covenant is supposed to be a better covenant based on better promises. So, in the Old Testament God said if you obey me and do what I tell you to do, there won't be any poor among you."Reclaiming the Seven Mountains" is an often-repeated theme at KEYS events. Wallnau and other leading apostles teach that the mountains are currently controlled by demonic forces which have been empowered by Satan to take control. Other statements by apostles and at KEYS events, indicate that the apostles believe that Jews currently hold the positions at the top of the "mountains." Although presented in flattering terms of "thinking generationally," Kenn Renner described Jews as currently holding dominion over the mountains during a presentation at the 2010 summit at Faith Bible Chapel. In a talk titled "Reclaiming our Inheritance & Reclaiming the Real Estate Business Mountain," he stated the following while showing the graphic at right,
" The Jewish Dominion - they dominate the seven mountains of culture. What I mean by that is, for their size, being a very small nation, they dominate... You can realize the Jews have something that we don’t. ...We should be also the most wealthiest. You know, Abraham was wealthy, Isaac was wealthy, Jacob was wealthy. They thought generationally. We are grafted into that culture, so we need to receive our inheritance and we are to be wealthy. ...We are supposed to be Kings and dominate..." One of the goals of the marketplace apostles is stealth evangelism. Renner explains that he gives "sermonars" in which he teaches how to get wealthy as an introduction to evangelizing. Renner references Lance Wallnau's well-known quotes about "Jehovah Sneaky" or the need to gain access and influence before talking with people about the gospel. The idea that Jews now hold power over the Seven Mountains, particularly business, has been repeated in other settings, including the ceremony in which Apostle Thomas Muthee anointed Sarah Palin prior to her run for governor. Muthee gave a sermon about taking control of the seven spheres in order to "transform" society.
"The second area whereby God wants us, wants to penetrate in our society is in the economic area. The Bible says that the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. It's high time that we have top Christian businessmen, businesswomen, bankers, you know, who are men and women of integrity running the economics of our nations. That's what we are waiting for. That's part and parcel of transformation. If you look at the -- you know -- if you look at the Israelites, that's how they work. And that's how they are, even today." Muthee continues speaking about the need for Christians to "take over our education system" and to stop the teaching of Buddhism, Islam, sorcery and witchcraft. Cindy Jacobs spoke in Indonesia on the topic of the Seven Mountains, including the following quote.
"You know what's going to happen? - One day in our countries they're not going to say, `Oh, you know, those Jews - they're so wealthy.' They're going to say,' Oh, you know, those Christians - everything they do turns to gold!" Jacobs also spoke at the 2010 KEYS summit at Faith Bible Chapel. The NAR's apostles and prophets are generally Christian Zionists, with some holding leading international positions in activists organizations. NAR apostles are at the forefront of support for Messianic Jewish ministries and proselytizing of Jews in Israel and elsewhere. (The host of the 2010 KEYS summit was George Morrision, a regional director for John Hagee's Christians United for Israel.) The treatment of Judaism is handled more carefully than their outright demonization of other religions including other sectors of Christianity. The NAR's embrace of "Hebrew roots" and celebration of Christianized Jewish holidays is based in their end times theology but also in the belief that Jews possess some kind of secret ancient wisdom about wealth. The Order of Melchizedek
Renner also describes the "Order of Melchizedek" as allowing believers to be released from being stuck in the "Levitical old school" and to take dominion and control. The main speaker on the Order of Melchizedek at the 2010 KEYS conference was Francis Myles (speaking in video embedded at the beginning of the article), head of Kingdom Marketplace Coalition.
Myles has written books and speaks regularly about tapping into secret, ancient wisdom through the Order of Melchizedek, which he describes as behind the success of Abraham.
"I believe that this heavenly man was actually Christ manifesting himself in bodily form to Abram before the virgin birth."
Like many of the other apostles, Myles claims that institutional Christianity is dying because it is now in competition with "Kingdom" culture stating, "Spiritual subcultures brainwash and reprogram Kingdom citizens into thinking and behaving more like Baptist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, or Fundamentalist Christians rather than citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven! The Lord Jesus is putting an end to this foolishness and pre-empting the power of these doctrines of containment by killing the Christian religion worldwide!" Myles teaches that the Levitical priesthood is the source of the mindset and doctrine that blocks "Institutional Christianity" from being able to advance the Kingdom on earth. (The reader is also informed that the people of Sodom were "ultra social liberals.") He writes that breaking out of the Levitical mindset will empower marketplace apostles.
" Imagine telling the masses of born-again believers who have secular vocations that they can prophesy, cast out devils, and heal the sick while they are fulfilling their Kingdom assignments in the marketplace. Myles was commissioned as an apostle by John Kelly, who followed C. Peter Wagner as Convening Apostle of the International Coalition of Apostles. Another regular theme at both the KEYS summits and throughout the NAR is the claim that freemasonry must be eradicated to remove a curse from America. KEYS sessions have included "Breaking the Strongholds of Mammon, Poverty, and the Masonic Off of the Church." KEYS Canada An annual KEYS event is now held in Canada and this year's event will be in Grand Prarie, Alberta on November 10-13. Bruce Cook introduces the promotional video by stating that the conference is being held over the weekend of 11-11-11, a period of "divine convergence." This is a date that is being taken quite seriously by many leaders in the New Apostolic world. Lou Engle will be leading TheCall Detroit on 11-11-11, an event for which many apostles and prophets have been preparing over the course of the year. Partnering in the effort is the Oak Initiative and its affiliate Transformation Michigan and Michigan affiliates of Mike Bickle's International House of Prayer. Preparations have included ceremonies they claim to have held outside masonic lodges across the state of Michigan, in order to "bind the demon" of freemasonry. Leading NAR apostles claim that the practice of freemasonry has allowed territorial demons to take control of communities across the United States and that this has opened the door to the growth of Islam (which they consider to be demonically controlled) in America. Read about Apostle Bill Sudduth's teachings on freemasonry and Islam in Bruce Wilson's recent article. [I will be writing more about TheCall Detroit in the next few weeks.]
