THE THRILLA IN MANILA!

THE PHILIPPINES HAS BEEN FAMOUS FOR POLITICAL UPHEAVAL. The last 30 years have seen two presidents forcibly deposed, three disputed elections, one presidential candidate assassinated, a handful of constitutional crises and a festering Islamic rebel insurgence. On the surface, it's not the first place one would expect to find thriving examples of transformation.

Yet, that is exactly what is happening.

During a period of ten days in February, God opened multiple doors for Ed and Ruth Silvoso to minister to high-level officials who are experiencing transformation. Each is strategically positioned by God:

IMELDA MARCOS: A close associate has earned the trust of Imelda Marcos, widow of deposed former President Ferdinand Marcos, who has gone through a tremendous personal odyssey. Ed and Ruth were able to minister further to her. Not much can be shared at this time, except to report that God will use Imelda Marcos to do on a global scale what Zacheus did in Jericho...and millions will come to Christ.

PRESIDENT: Via the personal presidential secretary who Ed and Ruth led to the Lord during their last visit, the opportunity emerged to minister to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and deliver a timely prophetic word, along with Ed's book Transformation, which she received. ARMY and POLICE: Ed spent time with the 3 Star General who is Chief of the Army, who along with the National Chief of Police are being pastored by Harvest Evangelism team members. As a result, every officer in the Army and tens of thousands of police officers now receive training on transformation principles. On top of this, during his lunch with Ed and Ruth and the Harvest team, the Army Chief and his wife were anointed as parents over the Army, 82,000 soldiers.

SUPREME COURT: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has become a Christian and taken the Kingdom of God to the Judiciary with tremendous results while actively supporting transformation initiatives in Filipino cities.

CONGRESS: A senator known for righteousness and fairness is likely to become the next Minister of the Interior. This means that he would be overseeing the Provincial Governors, Mayors, Intelligence services and the armed forces of the nation. Ed ministered to him and his wife, praying they would become a father and mother to the nation. They will be calling the entire nation to prayer "a la 2 Chronicles 7:14", ramping up to the next election. This has never happened before!

THE PHILIPPINES IS PREGNANT WITH THE SEEDS OF TRANSFORMATION! The next step is to convene the top 1,000 influencers in the nation to teach them how to rid themselves, their businesses and eventually the nation of corruption. This most likely will happen when the new President is installed.
