More from Wiley Drake: "I have never have been worried about the IRS," he said. "They don't scare me. I don't give a rip about the IRS. I don't believe in the separation of church and state and I believe the IRS should stay out of church business."
Drake said he endorsed Huckabee because of his religious qualifications.
"Mike Huckabee is a born-again Christian," Drake said, "And I believe in the final countdown for him, he will do what God told him to do. He is a God-fearing man and he'd fear God more than his constituents and more than the Constitution."
Huckabee campaign: Denounces Drake's "evil comments" -- in which he called for the demise of staffers at Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

Father Jake Stops the World reports on a surprising development in the ongoing rift in the Anglican Communion.
Pastordan reports on a surprising announcement from the Family Research Council.
Rob Leveridge reflects on the workshop discussions on the religious right and what to do about it at the Yearly Kos.
The panel consisted of Frederick Clarkson, Chip Berlet, and our president [Chicago Theological Seminary], Susan Thistlethwaite.
Berlet said something that I've been stewing over - when we speak about our opponents in the struggle over how religious faith will shape public discourse and political action, we need to conscientiously attend to and name the the wrongs that we encounter. It is meaningless to talk about "religious fanaticism", "extremism", "ideologues", and so forth, because these terms only serve to demonize those we disagree with, and the exact same rhetoric will be thrown back at us. Instead, if you're seeing sexism, call it sexism. If you're seeing homophobia, call it homophobia. And so on.
If you focus your energy specifically at addressing the actual problems you see, instead of just thinking up smart-sounding ways to insult those you disagree with, you might actually make some progress.
