Rabbi on the Run
Rabbi Jeffrey Goldman, a former Army chaplain, has been listed as a deserter by the Department of Defense in retaliation for his allegations of anti-Semitism at Fort Stewart, which included such
egregious violations as Christian chaplains hanging Nazi uniforms and swastikas on the wall of the Hunter Army Airfield officers' club at a 2001 interfaith prayer breakfast that Goldman was ordered to attend.
Last month, after reading an article on truthout.org about the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) investigation into anti-Semitic Bible study materials on the Fort Leavenworth website, Goldman, currently residing in Toronto, contacted MRFF founder Mikey Weinstein. at Hunter Airfield, and a Rabbi on the Run. |
