...But that man, from a casual glance, seems like a relatively rational individual with a knack for understanding the true danger of Messianic fervor (e.g. "Satan in Goray" by Singer), be it Christian or otherwise.  Unfortunately, they seem to be the minority when compared to the reactionary religious right.  

I'm 26, I've spent much of my life contemplating the kind of literature I was exposed to, as well as that which I encountered later on which deeply changed my thoughts.  I think I will be condemned to a life of deep fear understanding the kind of paradigm they gave me in early life which I was able to remove later on through individual volition, though I've never been able to dismiss the thought in my mind...

It's foolish, I suppose, to fear for the thoughts of others, as one can never truly know them, but Left Behind and The Final Quest and the Literature of Frank Peretti has become so nefarious in nature in my mind given that I once held it as deeply sacred, that, when I see things like this, I always wonder what the actual purpose behind the rhetoric is.
